Wolverhampton Wanderers have received a potential transfer boost, with the manager of Bundesliga side Energie Cottbus admitting young midfielder Tobias Eisenhuth will be sold.
Wolves were linked (Liga Drei) with a move for Eisenhuth back in October, after catching the eye with some solid performances at holding midfield.
The talented 18-year-old’s stock has been rising, and recently he wowed against giants Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal.

In the eyes of manager Claus-Dieter Wollitz, it’s only a matter of time before Eisenhuth will be cashed in on.
He told the club’s official website: “The club wants to earn money. I have to put these players in the shop window. It’s all about the money in the end.
“It’s no secret that many clubs are watching [Eisenhuth] – including Bundesliga clubs. He will make the leap.”
TBR’s view – Eisenhuth there for the taking
Wollitz’s comments are effectively an invitation for Wolves to make an offer for the teenager.

Cottbus know they have little hope retaining a player of his potential for much longer, and so Wolves will need to act fast if they’re serious about landing him.
Eisenhuth is establishing himself as a very exciting prospect, and there could be a real fight for him following the manager’s admission.
