Aaron Ramsey is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season and has played his last game for the Gunners after injuring his hamstring – and Emmanuel Frimpong has identified his replacement.
Ramsey, 28, has signed a pre-contract agreement with Italian champions Juventus, after failing to agree new terms on his current deal with the north Londoners. He played 371 times in total for Arsenal since joining from Cardiff.
Many fans and pundits are in disbelief that Arsenal have let the 58-time Wales international leave the club, but he now needs replacing – which will see Arsenal have to dig deep considering Ramsey is going on a free.
Former Gunners midfielder Frimpong has identified the perfect replacement for Ramsey, in the form of Ajax playmaker Donny van de Beek who scored against Tottenham in the Champions League semi-final.

Losing Ramsey is a huge hammer blow for the Gunners’ chances of finishing in the top four and winning the Europa League this season, but also for many seasons to come.
They need to replace him, but be careful that they make the right addition when doing so. French outlet Le Parisien claim Arsenal are indeed interested in the 22-year-old, with a £45million transfer fee required.
Yes, on the face of it, van de Beek looks like a top signing – with 16 goals and 12 assists from midfield. But Davy Klaassen flopped at Everton after similar stats following his move from Ajax. Arsenal need to be careful.
