Emile Heskey has described Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah as a “phenomenal” player on the Seaman Says podcast.
The Anfield cult hero believes the Reds‘ game against Manchester City could rely on key moments in front of goal, which is where Salah excels.
Salah has been superb throughout his time at Liverpool, including last season when other players suffered downturns in form.

The Egypt international has made 211 appearances for the Reds, registering 133 goals and 49 assists.
This season, Salah has an impressive eight goals and two assists from eight appearances.
On Sunday, Anfield will play host to City, the reigning Premier League champions and a tough team to face.
However, Heskey reckons Salah could play a key role in the game, alongside Sadio Mane and Virgil van Dijk.
“(City) might shade the possession in this game,” he said on the Seaman Says podcast.

“But it’s about those key moments where you get the chance, and when you’ve got the likes of Salah who will score you goals.
“His goalscoring is phenomenal, he’s the top of the charts and you’ve got Mane coming in as well, defensively they’re solid again with Virgil back.”
Liverpool go into Sunday’s game against City as the only unbeaten team remaining in the Premier League.
