Hector Bellerin has posted a picture on Instagram following Arsenal’s 4-0 win over West Brom in the snow at The Hawthorns as Mikel Arteta’s side continued their run of successive wins – and Emi Martinez has responded with a three-word message.
Bellerin, 25, has been linked with a £22million return to Barcelona (Mirror) after initially joining the Gunners nine years ago – clocking up 222 appearances for Arsenal in the mean time. He remains first choice, and played 54 minutes of the 4-0 win.
Alexandre Lacazette got a brace, while Kieran Tierney stole the show with a goal and an assist. Bukayo Saka tapped home too, after a brilliant passing move including Emile Smith-Rowe and Lacazette. It was Bellerin’s 18th appearance of the season.
With the Gunners winning despite the blizzard-like conditions, Bellerin posted on Instagram a picture that saw the right-back impressing in the snow. He twinned the posted with a six-word caption: “Well, that was a cool game”.
Martinez, a teammate of Bellerin for many years at Arsenal, left the Gunners in the summer to join Aston Villa where he has since starred for Dean Smith’s side. He has relocated to the Midlands, the same area in which Bellerin played on Saturday.
Martinez responded to Bellerin’s Instagram post with a three-word message, telling Bellerin “Welcome to Birmingham”.
