Aston Villa fans have reacted to the report claiming their club has bid £25million for James Ward-Prowse.
And quite a few Villans supporters aren’t impressed with their own club for reportedly making such a “ridiculous” bid.
According to The Athletic, Southampton have rejected the “derisory” £25million offer.
However, Villa are apparently expected to make a second offer for the Saints captain.

Southampton are apparently reluctant to sell their captain to a direct rival in the Premier League.
Ward-Prowse, their most prized asset, signed a new contract just last year, reportedly worth £75,000-a-week.
Villa are looking to further strengthen their ranks this summer, having already signed Emiliano Buendia and Ashley Young.
And all this is happening in wake of Jack Grealish’s uncertain future amid links with Manchester City.
However, £25million for a player of Ward-Prowse’s quality is certainly way off the mark.
And some Villa fans feel embarrassed about their own club for reportedly pulling off such a stunt.
Ward-Prowse is a talented midfielder who has enjoyed an upward career trajectory in recent years.
As well as becoming Southampton’s captain, he has also broken into the England squad.
Indeed, Gareth Southgate’s decision not to include him in the Euro 2020 squad proved controversial.
