A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the announcement regarding extra tickets being made available for the Whites fanbase when Fulham come to Elland Road in the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa’s charges, currently top of the table on 71 points, are set for a highly-anticipated clash with the Cottagers, who are third in the table on 64 points, on Wednesday 18 March, 7:45pm kickoff.

Over the course of the season, several teams visiting Elland Road haven’t managed to sell out their allocation, resulting in Leeds making tickets available for their own supporters.
This has proven the case with Fulham, and when Leeds announced on their Twitter channel that home fans could buy tickets for seats in the West Stand lower away section, plenty of Whites supporters revelled in the news and had a dig at their promotion rivals.
Here is some of the social media reaction:
Leeds will be hoping to avenge their defeat to Fulham earlier this season at Craven Cottage, when Aleksandar Mitrovic’s early penalty and Josh Onomah’s second half goal helped seal a 2-1 win over the Whites, who had drawn level through Patrick Bamford on 54 minutes.
This weekend, Bielsa’s charges are on the road as they face Cardiff City on Sunday, while Fulham are in Friday night action at home against Brentford.
