Arsenal fans have been reacting in their droves on Twitter as the ongoing saga surrounding William Saliba continues under Mikel Arteta.

Arteta was speaking about Saliba yesterday in his pre-match press conference ahead of tonight’s Europa League clash.

One of the things the Gunners boss once again mentioned was Saliba’s situation, amid reports surfacing that the young French defender is becoming fed up of his situation under the Arsenal boss.

Arteta defended his stance to leave him out of the squad, and insisted he tried to find him a move before the summer window ended, believing Saliba still needs a full and proper ‘transition year’ to adapt.

Gunners fans, though, don’t seem too impressed with how the club – or Arteta – have handled the situation.
