Fulham made several additions in the Summer after selling Moussa Dembele and Ross McCormack for hefty fees. Chris Martin joined on loan and has succeeded at Craven Cottage with seven goals already. The Cottagers have spent the money very well, improving all aspects of the squad, with Floyd Ayite, Scott Malone, Stefan Johansen and Kevin McDonald the stand out signings.

The club haven’t showed any sign before this season of returning to the Premier League, since their relegation in 2014, but this campaign they are right in the mix. Tom Cairney is a key player for them, he has that real touch of quality and creativity every team aiming for promotion needs in their ranks.

Their squad on paper is up there. It is solid, with Championship quality throughout. Meanwhile, manager, Slaviša Jokanovic, promoted with Watford in 2015, knows what it takes and how to deal with his players when the season draws to a close, which will only be to Fulham’s aid.
