Based on the current state of affairs, the aforementioned eight teams are in the driving seats for a promotion/play-off challenge, but there’s always the chance of an outside bet getting in the top six.

Their squad is built on belief though, and their group of players don’t know the meaning of ‘can’t’ after their miraculous turn around last season in League One.
Birmingham City recently sacked Gary Rowett as manager, which saw Gianfranco Zola take over at St. Andrews. They are outside the play-offs by six points, and whether the Italian’s appointment will be influential, only time will tell.
