'Eduardo vibes'; 'Young Fabregas': 3 Arsenal youngsters to watch in 2022
A number of top talents have come through the Arsenal ranks in recent years.
Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe look set to impress for the Gunners and England over the next decade or more.
But Arsenal have plenty more superb players who could potentially break into the senior ranks.
Here, The Boot Room looks at three exciting Hale End youngsters who could make a name for themselves in 2022.
Azeez is a dynamic midfielder equally skilled as an anchorman as he is playing at No. 10.
The 19-year-old is also viewed as a natural leader and captain material.
Azeez was playing for Arsenal’s Under-18s when he was 15 and didn’t look out of his depth at all.
He developed so well as a player and leader that, by the time he was 17, he was captaining the team.
Azeez was in and around the Arsenal first team last season.
He made his senior debut in December’s Europa League win over Dundalk.
This season, Azeez is on loan at Portsmouth, and has started their last two league games.
Fans have compared him to the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Yaya Toure, Youri Tielemans and Andrea Pirlo.

Salah-Eddine Oulad M’hand
Predominantly a central midfielder, Salah progressed through the youth ranks at Feyenoord.
Arsenal snapped the 18-year-old up on a free transfer last summer.
Salah reportedly left Feyenoord over doubts regarding his progression to the senior team.
As per the Gunners website, he is “renowned for his agility and creativity in the middle of the park”.
Salah sadly spent most of last term on the sidelines following a stress fracture he suffered near his ankle.
However, he’s back to fitness and performing superbly this season, registering five goals and three assists in 14 youth appearances.
Salah has earned comparisons with the likes of Robert Pires, Freddie Ljungberg and Samir Nasri.

Biereth joined the Arsenal ranks in July after snubbing a new contract at Fulham.
Last season, the 18-year-old registered a staggering 21 goals and 13 assists.
He helped Fulham’s Under-18s win the U-18 Premier League South.
This term, Biereth has stepped up superbly for Arsenal Under-23s.
The young Dane has registered six goals and three assists from 14 Premier League 2 games.
Fans have compared Biereth to Arsenal cult hero Eduardo da Silva.
