Arsenal on-loan midfielder Martin Odegaard has been praised by Gunners icon Eduardo da Silva, in conversation with Sky Sports.
The Emirates Stadium outfit signed the 22-year-old on loan from Real Madrid in January, and he has been an incredible addition to the squad.
Indeed, Odegaard won Arsenal’s Player of the Month award for March, with 53.4 percent of the votes cast.

The new Norway captain scored his first goal for Mikel Arteta’s side in the Europa League away victory against Olympiacos, firing home from 25 yards out.
He followed that up with the equaliser in the north London derby victory, sweeping home Kieran Tierney’s cutback.
Odegaard also played a key role in helping Arsenal mount a comeback against West Ham from three goals down to claim a point in a 3-3 draw.
Eduardo has compared Odegaard to Cesc Fabregas, and believes the on-loan No. 10 could get into any Arsenal side past and present.
“It feels like yesterday I left Arsenal,” he told Sky Sports. “I remember all the great moments I spent in London. The Arsenal team I played in played beautiful football. I miss that time.
“I was a big fan of Cesc Fabregas. He played so well in the matches and in training at that time. He could not lose the ball.
“Every pass was made, every shot was good, so many assists, the best player I played with.
“Martin Odegaard now is very talented. Any player past or present would like to play with a player like him. He could get into many of the Arsenal teams from the past.”
TBR View:
Just a few months ago, Arsenal were desperate for a quality attacking midfielder, and now they have two, with Emile Smith Rowe rising from the Hale End ranks into the first team.
Obviously with Odegaard being on loan, his future isn’t all that clear, but hopefully the Gunners will do all they can in taking him off Real’s hands in the summer.
