Edu, in particular, is a big fan of Marcos Leonardo, with Arsenal scouting the Santos striker ahead of the January transfer window.
That is according to a report from Football Transfers, which notes that the Gunners are also interested in a move for Dusan Vlahovic as they look to strengthen their striker ranks.
Marcos Leonardo is attracting a lot of interest after a superb start to his career in Brazil. The 20-year-old has scored 54 goals in 164 games in all competitions for the club.
Edu a big fan of Arsenal target Marcos Leonardo
Real Madrid and Newcastle United are amongst the clubs thought to be monitoring Marcos Leonardo. But Arsenal are also interested in the youngster.

In fact, Football Transfers is reporting that Arsenal sent scouts to watch Leonardo. And Edu is a big fan of the starlet as he looks at potential targets for the January window.
Previous reports from the Daily Mirror have suggested that Santos want £25 million for Leonardo. It is not yet clear whether Arsenal would be willing to pay anything like that amount for the forward.
Gunners need January signings to hit the ground running
It would be a gamble to make a move for Leonardo in January. Certainly, it is less of a risk if they also manage to bring in Dusan Vlahovic.
Arsenal look set to be in title contention once again this year. And they will not want to harm their chances of finishing top of the table by not strengthening in January.
They do have a strong group of Portuguese-speaking players within the squad. So that would make it easier for Leonardo to settle in if he did make the move.
And given the start Gabriel Martinelli made to life in North London, there is arguably no reason why Leonardo cannot have an impact in the second-half of the season if he is signed.
