Arsenal scouts will be in attendance in Turkey today to watch Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu in action against Hatayspor.
The 24-year-old defender has been of interest to the Gunners for over a month now. Arsenal reportedly wanted to sign him last month, and it looks like their interest has not gone away.

Arsenal send scouts to watch Ferdi Kadioglu
A busy summer transfer window awaits Arsenal, irrespective of how this season ends.
Mikel Arteta is almost guaranteed to sign a new striker and midfielder, while a wide player is also said to be on the agenda.
If everyone’s fit, however, Arsenal don’t really need another full-back, but Star in Turkey have revealed this week that Ferdi Kadioglu is on the Gunners’ radar.
The 24-year-old’s stock has been rising over the last year at Fenerbahce. He is developing brilliantly, and it’s only a matter of time before he ends up at a bigger club.
The report claims Arsenal and Napoli are both interested in signing Kadioglu. Edu Gaspar‘s scouts will be at the Mersin Arena later today to have a closer look at the Turk when he faces Hatayspor.
Kadioglu, who has been described as a ‘nightmare to deal with’ by Analytics FC, will enter the final two years of his contract this summer.

Arsenal don’t need Kadioglu
Ferdi Kadioglu is one of the best defenders in Turkey, and we’re sure he’ll have a solid career. However, we just can’t see Arsenal making a move for him.
The Turk’s biggest selling point is his versatility. He can play in both full-back positions and also in midfield, which is a trait that’s very attractive to managers.
However, Arsenal’s full-backs, Jurrien Timber and Takehiro Tomiyasu, can do that as well.
Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko can play as full-backs and in the middle of the park too, while Jakub Kiwior can slot in at centre-half along with left-back and defensive midfield.
As good a player as Kadioglu is, we just don’t think Arsenal need him this summer.
