Tottenham reportedly have Roma centre-forward Edin Dzeko on their transfer radar for January, with Harry Kane sidelined until March with an ankle injury.
According to La Repubblica, Spurs could look to add the 32-year-old to their squad for the second half of the season.
It is understood that Premier League club West Ham are also keen on the Bosnia international, who has 55 goals in 99 appearances for his nation.
Spurs should ramp up their plans to bring in the goal machine, as he’s a foolproof addition that could help cover for Kane and surely hit the ground running in North London.

Dzeko has scored goals wherever he’s gone in his career and is showing no signs of slowing down in recent times.
He already proved his qualities in England by scoring 72 goals for Manchester City, while he’s also netted 80 times for Italian side Roma and 85 times for German club Wolfsburg.
The target man has the attributes to play the lone attacking role perfectly and is clinical in the penalty area when he gets a chance.
One main concern Spurs fans have is about signing a striker that will drift away into the fringes when Kane returns to fitness.
But Dzeko has the genuine qualities to challenge him for his position, while his Premier League record proved he can be a great squad player.
He had to compete alongside the likes of Carlo Tevez, Mario Balotelli, Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero during his time at Manchester City.
Dzeko wasn’t always a regular starter at the Etihad Stadium, but was a consistent goalscorer and Spurs would be extremely lucky if they can snap him up to bolster their options.
