According to Fabrizio Romano, both West Ham and Spurs will not be signing Edin Dzeko this January, thanks to his enormous wage demands.
Speaking on his Here We Go podcast this week, Romano confirmed that Dzeko is on a whopping £7.5m per year with Roma, after tax.

Dzeko had reportedly been offered to West Ham this week. Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport had claimed the former Manchester City man had been touted to Premier League clubs. It comes after a falling out with Roma coach Fonseca, with Dzeko said to be training alone.
However, his mammoth wages make a deal almost impossible to do for West Ham. For Spurs, Romano says a deal is also unlikely, with Jose Mourinho not said to be looking for another striker yet.

Hammers boss David Moyes is looking for a new forward after selling Sebastien Haller. He is set to sign Jesse Lingard, though, while Said Benrahma is also making his move permanent.
Everton have also been credited with an interest in Dzeko. (Gazzetta)
TBR View: Dzeko brilliant but the money is huge for Spurs and West Ham
Every club would like someone like Edin Dzeko. He brings goals, experience, and the winning mentality from his time with City, where he won two Premier League titles.
But that is one big contract he is on in the Italian capital. £7.5m would make him one of the very top earners in the entire Premier League.
Given he is 34, it’s hard to justify any club. Dzeko might score the goals to help Spurs and West Ham push for the top four, but the monetary outlay here would be huge. It’s a real shame, too.
