Eddie Nketiah has suggested that he has previously told Bukayo Saka that he would make sure that he would get on the end of one of his crosses, in a prediction that came to fruition during Arsenal’s latest win, in comments reported by Football London.

Saka has been a revelation for the Gunners this season. He went into Sunday’s clash with Everton having contributed nine assists, with the latest coming for the winner against Olympiacos on Thursday in the Europa League.

And he needed just 27 minutes of Sunday’s game with Everton to take his tally into double figures. It was a stunning cross from the left which fell to Nketiah in between the two centre-backs.

And Nketiah produced a superb, composed finish to equalise in a game that Arsenal would go on to win 3-2.

And following the game, Nketiah lauded his teammate and suggested that Sunday’s goal played out exactly how he had previously imagined.

“B’s in great form,” he said, as reported by Football London. “I think he’s got a wonderful delivery and we’re quite close off the pitch.

“I told him when he gets in there make sure he bends it in and I’ll make sure I’m on the end of it. We linked up well today and it’s great that it came off and we got a goal from it.”

It is fantastic for Arsenal to have so many exciting prospects coming through. Nketiah looks to have cemented himself in the first-team fold following his return from Leeds in January.

Meanwhile, Saka appears to have frightening potential. And they are not the only youngsters the fans are keeping an eye on.

There are still some areas of concern for Mikel Arteta to think about moving forward.

But in the likes of Saka, Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli amongst others, Arsenal arguably have the makings of an incredibly exciting side for years to come.
