Eddie Howe is making a huge impact on proceedings up at Newcastle United and already looks to be completely turning things around from the Steve Bruce era.
A run of impressive form was continued last weekend with a good point at West Ham United. A goal from Joe Willock sealed the draw and the Toon now look odds-on to beat the drop. It is, as some have said, an impressive turnaround from Howe in such a short space of time.

However, according to a report from The Telegraph, Howe’s reign has now been without the odd hiccup. And according to that report, Howe has had to take some pretty strict action on some players.
It is claimed that Howe has had to discipline a number of players within his squad. And although the details of that discipline hasn’t been revealed, The Telegraph states that some players have been reminded of their responsibilities of playing for the club.
To Howe’s credit, it is suggested the entire squad is a big fan of his. Even players he’s had to leave out of the 25 are said to have spoken to him and remain firmly onboard.

And there were plenty when he arrived. PIF took a bit of a gamble on Howe but it appears to be paying off massively.
He was clearly ready to return to management after his break and now looks like he is relishing the chance of getting this sleeping giant back roaring.
Newcastle will stay up this season. And with that, Eddie Howe will rightfully get the credit he deserves.
