Sunderland made wholesale changes to their first-team over the summer as they look to immediately bounce back from relegation to the Championship. The Black Cats are certainly doing a good job so far, sitting third in the table and looking set to battle for automatic promotion.
One of the new faces brought in to help the cause was Hibernian midfielder Dylan McGeouch. The 25-year-old Scotland international joined on a free transfer, after his deal at Hibernian came to an end.
However, despite arriving with a glowing reputation, the midfielder has not yet won over the Sunderland fans.

McGeouch had an injury at the start of the season but has slowly immersed himself into the starting line-up for the Black Cats. However, Sunderland fans have not yet been overly impressed with his displays in the middle of the park.
He has no goals or assists in his 11 games for the club. Considering he only bagged two assists and failed to score last season, that is not a surprise.
But it is his safe style of play that has Sunderland fans simply wishing for more. With Luke O’Nien now starting to show some form and Lee Cattermole impressing regularly, he has a fight on keeping his starting role. The performances will have to improve for that happen.
