Transfer guru Duncan Castles has suggested that PSG are eyeing a summer move for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, as claimed during the latest edition of The Transfer Window Podcast.
The Egyptian has been at Liverpool since a £34 million transfer from Roma in 2017. He has proved a solid addition since checking in at Anfield and has been an integral part of the club’s success in recent years.
Salah’s 25 goals this season have taken his tally for Liverpool 119 in total from 192 appearances for the club. The 28-year-old has also claimed 45 assists during that period.

Now, Castles has confirmed that interest is rife in the forward, with clubs set to enter the race to sign him in the summer.
The transfer guru told The Transfer Window Podcast: “There is also an interest from Qatar, the nation-state that owns PSG, in Mohamed Salah, for very obvious reasons.
“He should not be excluded as an option for PSG now that it looks like Messi isn’t going to happen and they have this Mbappe problem to solve.”
Salah is extremely important to the way in which Liverpool play and it seems unlikely he will leave unless a replacement of similar stature is signed.
PSG are desperate to finally get their hands on the Champions League and Mauricio Pochettino will know his remit is to achieve such a feat.
TBR View: Salah sale could become a realistic possibility
The man with 41 goals from 67 caps for Egypt could seek a Liverpool departure in the summer, especially if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League.
Paid £200,000-a-week by the Reds, his exit would certainly leave the club with a massive void to fill ahead of next season.

As a result, whilst it isn’t out of the question, it has to be said that a deal looks unlikely unless a stellar recruit is added as a direct replacement.
Boss Klopp will want some quality added to his ranks in the summer as he aims to wrestle back the Premier League title from the clutches of Manchester City.
Losing Salah would be a blow for the boss but at this stage, the prospect of him leaving shouldn’t be completely ruled out.
