Manchester City are reportedly chasing AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez.
According to CalcioMercato, City, as well as PSG, are both keen on signing Hernandez. The left-back’s contract expires in 2023, and Milan are unlikely to sell the French youngster for a cheap fee.
City’s left-back has been a questionable area of the squad for some time. And with the Premier League champions missing out on Nuno Mendes this summer to PSG, Hernandez could be a solid alternative for Pep Guardiola’s side.
The defender has been key to Milan’s rise back to the top of Italian football and their return to the UEFA Champions League. Hernandez arrived in 2019 and has been a regular for Stefano Pioli.
With City light in the left-back area, the addition of Hernandez could be a major improvement for the reigning Premier League title holders. Whilst the defender will be pricey, his inclusion could be huge.
