Tottenham Hotspur have posted a video on their official Twitter account of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad boarding a plane ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League outing against Red Star Belgrade – and the video shows a double boost for Spurs.
Spurs currently sit second in Group B of the Champions League after dispatching Red Star 5-0 at home last month. A trip to Serbia, though, promises a completely different test with the pressure still on Tottenham to nab three points.
Indeed, they sit on four points, five behind leaders Bayern Munich. Beating Red Star away from home will give Spurs breathing space and a much better chance of qualifying for the knockout stages. The video, posted on Tuesday afternoon, is a huge boost.
That is because Harry Kane was included in the video, after he missed Sunday’s draw with Everton because of a virus. He is caught boarding the plane, as is Son Heung-min – with suggestions that he may miss the clash, after Andre Gomes’ injury.

TBR’s view – Is it right for Son to play so soon after Gomes injury?
Son, 27, was in bits following the incident. With Gomes’ ankle pointing the wrong way, Son could not contain his emotion as he was seen crying on the Goodison Park pitch and unable to be consoled – even though the challenge was hardly his fault.
Stan Collymore has branded Son’s reaction as over the top in The Mirror, while Adrian Durham has claimed on TalkSPORT that it was his fault. But the majority of reaction has defended Son, while many have blasted Collymore and Durham.
But if Son stayed on the sidelines and decided to have time out, it would make his return more difficult. Having a game so soon is the perfect way to get over Sunday’s incident. Pochettino should start Son.
