Tottenham Hotspur and three other Premier League clubs are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud this summer – and fans of the Champions League side have reacted on Twitter.
Dahoud, 25, has broken into the Dortmund side of late after a spell on the fringes – and such form has earned him two caps with the Germany national team this season. But his long-term future at Dortmund is in doubt.
That is because the midfielder is out of contract at the end of the 2021-22 season. It means this summer’s window presents the last chance for Dortmund to bring in a considerable figure for his services, unless he signs a new deal.

Certainly, four Premier League clubs are said to have made enquiries, according to the Mail. Tottenham are battling Manchester City, Everton and Chelsea in pursuit of the midfielder, though a fee has not been disclosed.
Dortmund fans are seemingly keen on keeping him. Reacting to a fan post from a Tottenham-supporting account, many Dortmuns supporters stated that they want their side to keep him in Germany ahead of the summer window.
Some Dortmund fans, though, told those of a Spurs allegiance that he would easily start for the North London club.
