Darren Bent has told TalkSPORT that he is worried about what Gareth Southgate might do with Arsenal star Bukayo Saka tomorrow at the World Cup.
Saka looks set to play a key role for England in Qatar over the next month after an impressive start to the season.
The 21-year-old has been in brilliant form and has often been a standout performer in an excellent Arsenal side.
The Gunners are flying high at the top of the Premier League at the moment and Saka’s ten goal involvements have been pivotal to their impressive start.
The youngster will be hoping to start in Gareth Southgate’s front-three against Iran tomorrow. But Bent is worried that the England boss could play him at wing-back once again.

Bent worried about what Southgate might do
Bent spoke on TalkSPORT today and named Saka in his starting line-up for tomorrow’s World Cup opener.
The former Tottenham striker wants to see the Arsenal winger start in his natural position.
He said: “Saka has been brilliant for Arsenal this season, brilliant. [Raheem] Sterling we know what he can do at international level.”
Andy Goldstein then asked Bent how he would feel if Southgate played Saka at wing-back tomorrow.
“I don’t want to see that because Saka has been playing really well at right wing for Arsenal, fantastic,” Bent responded.
“That’s his position, but it wouldn’t surprise me. That’s credit to Bukayo Saka you’d have to say, because he’s versatile in a number of different areas.
“But I want to see Saka on that right hand-side further up the pitch.”

Southgate has used Saka as a wing-back for England in the past and he played in the left-sided role against Germany back in September.
But he didn’t look comfortable in that game after playing on the right-hand side for Arsenal all season.
Saka came on as a substitute against Germany just days later in the Nations League and really impressed while playing in his natural position.
The winger is arguably England’s most in-form player in the position and will be hoping to get the nod on the right-hand side tomorrow.
