‘Done us dirty’: Some Liverpool fans fume as club tease official announcement later this week

Liverpool have posted a teaser video for the release of their third kit for the season.

The Reds uploaded a short clip to their official Twitter account showing snippets of their final strip for the 2021/22 campaign. Liverpool will officially reveal the kit tomorrow at 8 am.

From the video, we can see that the shirt will primarily be yellow with strips of red. Liverpool have worn similar kits throughout their history, with the most recent one coming in the 2014/15 season.

Liverpool’s partnership with Nike has produced some excellent jerseys for the Merseyside giants. However, supporters on social media are not happy one bit with the upcoming release of this third kit.

Leaked images have shown the kit in its entirety, and the daring design has not been well received by Liverpool fans. But, this is in large part to how previous shirts with the same colour theme have been presented in the past.

Indeed, fans were hoping for a fresh new look for an iconic colour scheme for the Liverpool third kit. But instead, supporters on social media have been left fuming.
