Hakim Ziyech has starred once again this season for Ajax after helping his team to a League and Cup double in 2018-19, as well as a Champions league semi-final – and Don Hutchison has made a claim that will frustrate West Ham and Crystal Palace fans.
Ziyech, 26, has become renowned as one of the best players yet to play in Europe’s top five leagues of Germany, England, Spain, Italy and France. Despite that, his reputation continues to grow by shining in Holland, and in the Champions League.
Last season, the Moroccan had a hand in an enormous 45 goals in 49 games – scoring 21 times and creating 24 more. This season, he has continued his stunning form – laying on three assists on Tuesday night as Ajax drew 4-4 with Chelsea in London.
Don Hutchison is renowned for his knowledge of European football and the ex-Hammer has claimed that he informed his old side West Ham and indeed Crystal Palace about Ziyech “years ago”, but stated that both clubs ignored his advice.
Mate I told C Palace West Ham Years ago!!!! Do they listen? No they have there analysts looking at computers all day. 🤷🏽♂️ https://t.co/VLxd33jVzm

TBR’s view – Ziyech a bargain, but West Ham and Palace have no chance
Spanish newspaper AS claimed that Ajax removed Ziyech’s £26million release clause in the summer, but claim that Ajax will let the attacking midfielder leave in the future if offers of £43million come in for the player.
For Palace, they simply do not have the spending power to splash such a figure on a player. Meanwhile, West Ham can afford Ziyech, but the player will only consider Champions League sides from this point forward.
The Hammers and Palace have missed their chance to sign the player.
