Everton are currently in dire straits, having lost all three of their Premier League games so far this season.
The Toffees’ first two games saw them put to the sword, conceding seven goals and failing to get a single one in response.
Then, in Everton’s meeting with Bournemouth, Sean Dyche’s charges led 2-0 up until the 87th minute, and then conceded three to lose 3-2.
The international break may well have come at the perfect time for the Blues, who now have the chance to regroup and decide what to do next.
Dyche’s future will be under the spotlight, with TBR Football revealing that the Everton board has given him the dreaded vote of confidence.
In terms of potential replacements, David Moyes hasn’t been ruled out, but Graham Potter seems to be the main option, with admirers among the Everton hierarchy.
Toffees icon Don Hutchison has already given his verdict on the prospect of Potter at Everton, and it’s an emphatic one at that.

Don Hutchison keen on Graham Potter as he’d bring “good football” to Everton
Links between Everton and Potter aren’t exactly new, but with Dyche now on thin ice after such a poor start to the season, it’s not surprising to see them resurface.
Hutchison, a Goodison Park cult hero, has already given his thumbs up to the prospect of the former Chelsea man arriving on the blue half of Merseyside.
Hutchison wrote on X last year that his pick for the Everton job would be Potter, because the club would have an “identity” and there would be “good football to watch”.
Hutchison’s praise for Potter goes back even further than that, calling for the former Chelsea and Brighton boss to get the Everton gig back in January 2022.
“He has to be the number-one choice,” Hutchison told BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily podcast, via the BBC Sport website.
“With his coaching ability and the human way he manages players, he could get Everton into the top 10 in a short space of time.
“Over a three-year period, think about what he could do with the sort of money Farhad Moshiri is willing to pay.”
Everton need to go all out if they are to replace Dyche
Everton have been riding their luck in the Premier League for a few years now, but if they’re not careful, their luck could run out.
The Toffees are set to move into their new stadium next season, and it would be disastrous if the first competitive football played there was in the Championship.
With that in mind, Everton really need to push the boat out to bring in the right kind of manager if they do decide to part company with Dyche.
Potter is currently unattached, and Hutchison has been urging the Toffees to go for him for some years now. He’d certainly be a good – and realistic – shout for the job.
