Liverpool fans will be loving life right now under Arne Slot as things couldn’t have gone more perfect up until this point in the Premier League.

Dominik Szoboszlai says Mohamed Salah is the strongest player at Liverpool

Liverpool still need to sort out Mohamed Salah’s contract situation, as his current deal expires in mid-2025.

However, there is some hope for Liverpool fans as Salah has been claimed to have his sights set on Ian Rush’s goals record, which is over 100 goals away.

Known for his goalscoring ability, it was Dominik Szoboszlai who came out recently in a video on Liverpool’s YouTube channel to state that Mohamed Salah, who stands at 5ft 9 inches, is the strongest player at the club.

“Yeah, he’s really strong. I could go for it that he is the strongest in the team.”

What is the latest in Mohamed Salah’s contract talks?

Fabrizio Romano recently stated that Liverpool will open talks with Mohamed Salah over a potential new deal, but it could be in days, weeks or months.

“I can confirm once again that Liverpool and Mo Salah will talk in the next days, weeks, months.

“So I can’t predict now how long will be the conversation but there will be conversations to discuss the contract situation of Mo Salah. So it’s not over yet.

“At this point between Salah and Liverpool it’s a possibility for Salah to go as a free agent this summer but it’s guaranteed at all because Liverpool want to talk to Mo Salah and Salah wants to talk to Liverpool.

“Salah is very keen on discussing with Liverpool about the new project. He’s very happy with Arne Slot, the directors, the new mangement.

“So the discussion will take place, let’s see financially, in terms of project, in terms of the length of the contract. There are many things to discuss”.
