Last night saw Watford push Everton all the way at Goodison Park. In the end, The Hornets were unfortunate not to win the game after dominating for much of the match. Plenty of players impressed for Watford on the night, but perhaps none more so than the 19-year-old midfielder Domingos Quina.
In his first Premier League start, the teenager shined alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure in the heart of the Watford midfield.
It was a performance that highlighted how big a mistake West Ham have made with the player.
Quina joined the Hammers from Chelsea in 2016 as he felt his chances of first-team football were better with the Hammers.

However, after struggling to break into the West Ham squad, he left in the summer. His contract was running out in 2019 and West Ham decided they would rather sell now than lose him for nothing.
Watford, therefore, spent a reported £1 million to sign the player. Last night he did not look out of place in a midfield battle with Barcelona-owned Everton loanee Andre Gomes and alongside the £45m-rated Doucoure for the Hornets.
Some West Ham fans were already disappointed to see the club lose Quina. He scored a screamer against Reading in the EFL Cup which only heightened that feeling. Last night’s display has confirmed there is a real talent to be nurtured here.
West Ham will hope he does not go on to become a big regret.
