Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson has been named in Alan Shearer’s Premier League Team of the Season so far.
The 26-year-old has been nothing short of sensational for the Reds this season, shining down the left flank as Jurgen Klopp’s side surged 25 points clear at the top of the table.
Robertson has been a revelation since joining Liverpool from Hull City in a reported £8million deal which could rise to £10million (BBC Sport).

To date, the Scotland international has made 119 appearances for the Anfield side, scoring three goals and registering 25 assists.
This term, he has 41 appearances under his belt for Liverpool, including 28 in the Premier League.
“Does he ever run out of gas? The 26-year-old boasts incredible stamina and covers every blade of grass down the left for Liverpool,” Shearer wrote on the Premier League website.
“Robertson’s tenacity spreads throughout the whole team and he provides a key outlet in attack for the Reds. Alexander-Arnold is the only defender to set up more goals than Robertson’s seven this term.”

What else can be said about Robertson that hasn’t been said already? The man is a machine, and is a crucial member of the Liverpool juggernaut that has been clinically dispatching of most opponents with ease.
With his contract taking him to 2024 with the option of a further year, there is plenty more to come from him, while Scotland fans will be hoping he can play a part in getting their nation to a major tournament for the first time since 1998.
