Rangers may feel as though they have a good chance of keeping Ovie Ejaria beyond his loan stint, with Liverpool boasting an overload of options in midfield.
Ejaria has been impressing in Scotland, and has made 10 appearances so far.
The star, on a season-long loan, is developing nicely under Steven Gerrard, who has expressed his desired to keep him.

As reported by the Daily Record, Gerrard said that he believes their ‘could be scope’ to do something at the end of the season, and what a boost it would be for the Light Blues.
Ejaria has settled now and looks like a good fit for Gerrard’s engine room.
He is deft, and neat in possession, which is complementary to the steely, workhorse nature of Lassana Coulibaly.
Rangers must feel they can keep him
Ejaria is playing well for Rangers given the amount of midfielders at Liverpool, it would be little surprise to see him on the periphery if he went back.

The Reds have Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Naby Keita, Gini Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri, and then the two injured stars Adam Lallana and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to come back.
Admittedly Liverpool could sell one of two of those next summer. At the moment though the competition looks like it could be too much for Ejaria.
That has to give Rangers hope that Gerrard can sign the youngster permanently.
