They have a formidable team spirit
This has been clear for all to see since the 2014/15 season. Without the existence of a tremendous sense of togetherness, Leicester would not have been able to go on an amazing run where they won seven of their last nine games and secured their Premier League status, despite being rooted at the foot of the table until January. Claudio Ranieri clearly saw that the team spirit was high when he came in, so he barely made any changes to what was already a clearly winning formula.
When Leicester were winning at the start of this season, they were often coming from behind to eventually earn all three points. Whilst this epitomised the dogged determination of the Leicester side, Ranieri was unhappy at the amount of goals his team were conceding in every game, so he offered to buy his players pizza as long as they kept a clean sheet. Upon the Midlands side winning 1-0 against Crystal Palace in late October, he kept his promise and they got the pizza. Since that match, Leicester have kept eight clean sheets. Perhaps they only want more free pizza, but Ranieri has certainly capitalised on the strong team spirit already in existence.
