Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the signing of Middlesbrough full-back Djed Spence.
Spurs will reportedly pay Boro an initial £12.5m which could rise to £20m with add-ons (Evening Standard).
The 21-year-old was sent on loan last to Nottingham Forest last season by former Boro boss Neil Warnock and his brilliant form at the City Ground earned him the huge move to Spurs.

Djed Spence makes comment about Nottingham Forest
In Spence’s first interview for Tottenham’s official website, the England U21 international reflected on his time at Forest.
He said: “Last year we won promotion with Nottingham Forest and it was just a great season for me, it was the stuff of dreams really.”
The new Spurs man enjoyed the best football of his career so far under Forest boss Steve Cooper. The Englishman scored two goals and assisted five times in the Championship last season.
He also put in some eye-catching displays in the FA Cup, with brilliant performances against Arsenal and Leicester City.

After the announcement, Spence becomes Tottenham’s sixth summer signing as Antonio Conte continues to overhaul his squad.
In his first interview since joining the North London club, the former Forest man admitted he can’t wait to play in the Premier League.
He said: “To play in the Premier League and for a big club like Tottenham Hotspur is a dream come true. I’m just thankful that I’ve got here and I’m going to get the opportunity to play for the club.”
Spence also gave Spurs fans an insight into his playing style and promises to excite them just like he did at Forest.
“I bring excitement, skill, speed. I just want to excite the fans and play well,” he said.

At just 21 years of age, Spence has plenty of time to improve under Conte and will be hoping to continue the promise he showed under Cooper.
He’ll also be joining a friend at the club as Ryan Sessgnon and Spence know each other well after playing together at Fulham’s academy.
Many Forest fans will be gutted that the wing-back won’t be pulling on the famous red shirt next season. But they’ll soon see Spence in action again at the City Ground as Tottenham travel to Forest for the fourth game of the season.
