A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the refereeing announcement for Saturday’s return to Premier League action.
Jose Mourinho’s Spurs host Manchester City in a 5:30pm kickoff hoping to make it three Premier League wins in a row and four in all competitions.
Mike Dean will be the main official for the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Darren Cann and Dan Robathan as his assistants and Andy Madley as the fourth official.

The last Spurs game Dean officiated was the 2-0 win over Man City last season, a game in which he awarded Pep Guardiola’s side a penalty, but also sent Oleksandr Zinchenko off.
Dean has brandished a fair few cards in his Tottenham games over the years.
Since the start of the 2018-19 season, he has shown Spurs 21 yellows in eight games, with one sending off, and he has also awarded four penalties to the opposition.
The Spurs fanbase is split over the decision to appoint Dean for the game, with some worried and others fairly relaxed about it.
