Leeds United have been linked with Brest midfielder Romain Faivre in recent weeks.
According to L’Equipe, the 22-year-old is on the Elland Road side’s radar, though Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested.
Meanwhile, a Le10 Sport report from January claimed Leeds were up against Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain for Faivre’s services.

However, Brest sporting director Gregory Lorenzi has told L’Equipe that his club is in no need to sell.
He also suggested that Faivre would cost more than Ibrahima Diallo, who joined Southampton for around £13million last year.
“I have not set a price,” said Lorenzi. “We are not in a situation where we will be forced to sell Romain. We are not sellers,.
“We sold Diallo for €15m (around £13million) and attacking players are worth more.”
TBR view:
Faivre is a high-calibre player who’s hit the ground running at Brest following his £360,000 move from Paris Saint-Germain just last year.
“He’s a boy with real potential,” Brest head coach Olivier Dall’Oglio told the Ligue 1 website in January.
“He’s comfortable on the ball, and fast in possession, he’s got great vision too.
“He’s got something special. He rarely loses the ball, he can break through the lines by dribbling, and his passing creates so many chances for us.
“He’s a boy who can provide passes, but who’s also capable of scoring goals.”
Given his quality, rave reviews, young age, potential and reported interest from some top clubs, he sounds like a great shout for Leeds – but it won’t be easy given the club’s stance and competition.
