Liverpool drew 2-2 with Manchester City yesterday and Diogo Jota has taken to Twitter to give his reaction and thoughts on the game.
A blustery Anfield was lit up on the day by stunning performances from the likes of Mo Salah and Phil Foden. It was, all in all, a great advert for the Premier League and one which showed the best of both sides at times.

The game has had plenty of analysis and reaction to it already but it’s always nice to see and hear from those involved. And one of those players involved was Liverpool forward Jota, who had a quiet game by his own high standards.
But the Portuguese star seemed delighted to be part of the action, and took to Twitter a few hours ago to offer his quick thoughts on the game.
Since signing from Wolves, Jota has worked hard to cement himself as a first-team regular in the Liverpool side. He was replaced by Bobby Firmino yesterday in what has become a ‘usual’ sub for Jurgen Klopp.
TBR’s View: What a game is bang on from Jota here
That’s the least you can say really. And that’s just from the outside looking in.
It must have been amazing for Jota to be apart of and this is the reason really why he moved to Liverpool. The biggest games, on the biggest stages, against the very best teams around. And City are certainly that.
Jota has been integral for the Reds and will continue to be so. Although, he will be hard pushed to find himself involved in a better game all season.
