Diogo Jota is a very complete attacker.

Jota is an incredible finisher, while Jota is also one of the best headers of the ball in the Premier League.

Factor in his incredible technical ability and remarkable energy and pressing ability, and you have a striker who can do it all.

However, as with any player, there are areas of Jota’s game that could be improved, and speaking to ESPN, the Liverpool star has claimed that he’d love to steal one of Darwin Nunez’s attributes.

Indeed, the striker says that he wishes he was as quick as Nunez, claiming that the Uruguayan’s pace allows him to make things look so much easier.

Diogo Jota wishes he was as fast as Darwin Nunez

Jota spoke about which attribute he’d like to steal from one of his teammates.

Jota could’ve chosen Virgil van Dijk’s strength or Trent Alexander-Arnold’s passing ability, but, instead, he picked Nunez’s pace.

“If you could steal an attribute from anyone in the Liverpool team, who would you take it from and what would it be?

“Speed. Darwin’s speed. It makes everything look easy you know,” Jota said.

How fast is Darwin Nunez?

Jota says that he’d love to be as fast as Nunez, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Nunez has been hailed for his pace before, and the numbers back it up.

Indeed, the stats show that Nunez is indeed the fastest player at Liverpool.

1. Darwin Nunez35.4
2. Mohamed Salah/Joe Gomez34.4
4. Ibrahima Konate34.21
5. Andy Robertson33.8

Nunez is absolutely rapid, he’s some way ahead in terms of being the fastest player at Liverpool, and there aren’t many players in world football who can keep up.

Jota himself isn’t one of the fastest players in the Liverpool squad, according to The Speeds Database, his top speed clocks in at just 31.5 km/h.

If Jota had Nunez’s speed, he would be one of the most dangerous attackers in world football, but, sadly, the £45m man isn’t blessed with the same pace as someone like Nunez.
