Diogo Jota has raved about Mo Salah on BBC Sport’s Live coverage of Liverpool and their win over Manchester United – labelling him “unreal”.
Jurgen Klopp’s side produced an enormous 5-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, the club’s biggest-ever win at the home of their bitter rivals.
Of course, 29-year-old Salah was at the heart of everything. Not only did the Egyptian score a hat-trick, but he also got his fifth assist of the season.
Salah already, incredibly, has 15 goals in all competitions this season. Not only that, but he is becoming more creative, 20 goal involvements in all.
Jota also got his name on the score sheet, poking home a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold. It comes after Naby Keita opened the scoring.
Speaking after the match, Jota said Salah is “unreal” when it comes to finishing in front of goal – and that he has something other teams want.
“One of the best for sure, the way he finishes is unreal. In the end, that is what all the teams want, the goals,” Jota told BBC Sport.

Jota on Salah: Liverpool star is the best in the world, no doubt
He might not be the best in the world to ever play the game, or the best player in football right now. But on form, he is absolutely flying.
In terms of his current tally of goals, assists, influence on the big stage – scoring against Atleti in the week – Salah is the best in the world, right now.
Where there has been criticism of Salah in the past in regards to his hold-up play, his finishing, his work rate – this season, everything has come together.
But his impact in the big matches is growing. When he does not score, it is a surprise. If Salah continues this form, Liverpool win the league.
