Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Dimitar Berbatov has told Harry Kane he might need to leave the club in order to win trophies.
The England international has been with Spurs for the whole of his career so far, but is yet to claim his first piece of silverware.

The north Londoners have come close in recent years, most recently in the Champions League final against Liverpool, but have been unable to get the job done.
In the eyes of Berbatov, who won a League Cup in 2007 during his two-year stint at White Hart Lane, Kane might need to consider changing teams.
He told The Sun: “Someone needs to ask Harry Kane about what he will do if Spurs don’t win a trophy this season.

“Coming from that point of view, and I’ve been in those shoes, the moment comes when you play for a team for a while and you don’t win anything.
“The question is, if he moves, for example to Manchester United, is he going to be playing with better players and scoring more?
“I was thinking about that when I moved. You need to choose – test yourself or stay in the same place? Trust me, it’s a complicated situation.”

Kane was never likely to leave this summer, but fans will be desperate to see the club win a trophy in 2019/20.
With new players such as Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele in the squad, the club could have their best chance in years of doing just that.
Should the club go trophyless again, then £200,000-a-week ace Kane (Spotrac) may well want to consider his options.
