Dimitar Berbatov has raved about Tottenham’s Harry Kane and feels that he’s a brilliant all-round player that is more than just a goalscorer.

The England captain has been a clinical finisher during his time with Spurs and already has 10 goals in 13 games across all competitions so far this campaign.

His overall record for the North London club is 174 goals in 266 appearances and he is regarded as one of the best centre-forwards in the world.

The 26-year-old striker can score a variety of different goals, but can also link up play in the final third to allow the likes of Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son to work off him.

Ex-Spurs forward Berbatov has listed off all the strengths in Kane’s game and it seems like he can do a bit of everything.

“Everybody knows how good of a goalscorer Harry Kane is, but for me he isn’t just that, it’s how he sees the game, how he plays with his teammates, linking the play, his assists and his defending are all so important,” Berbatov told the Express.

TBR’s View:

Kane is certainly underrated in terms of his overall influence on the Spurs team and he is definitely more than just a poacher in the penalty area.

He’s continued to chip in with goals despite the disappointing form of Mauricio Pochettino’s side this season and he’s vital to them turning things around.

It’s up to the likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen to try raise their game around him, but one man who should perhaps come into the picture is summer addition Giovani Lo Celso.
