‘Different gravy’: West Ham fans rave about Declan Rice following Spurs win

West Ham United completed their fine start to the Premier League season with another excellent home win, this time against London rivals, Spurs.

The Hammers were good value for another Premier League win under David Moyes as they moved up to fourth in the table. Michail Antonio got the winning goal, as he continued his own fine individual form this term.

Moyes is building quite the team in East London. Among the star players in his team, he has a squad full of players who are also willing to run through brick walls for him and put their bodies on the line when needed. And one of those players who epitomises that attitude, is Declan Rice.

The England midfielder is going from strength to strength and it’s little wonder teams are considering £100m+ bids for him. Rice, alongside Tomas Soucek, has developed one of the best midfield partnerships in the league.

Twitter, then, was full of comments from West Ham fans, who were quick to praise Declan Rice for his excellent performance against Spurs today.
