Liverpool cruised to another Premier League victory this afternoon with a 4-0 hammering of Southampton.
The Reds went into half-time goalless but produced a scintillating second-half display to see off Ralph Hassenhuttl’s men.

Goals from Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson, and a double for Mo Salah saw the Merseysiders home. It means it’s now 25 games without defeat this term for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Among the good performances in the Reds’ ranks today was a divine show of attacking play from Brazilian striker, Roberto Firmino.
The forward, so often overlooked as Mo Salah and Sadio Mane dominate headlines, produced a masterclass in how to play in the middle of a front three at the very top level.
A hat-trick of assists for Firmino was just as important as the goals he scored. The Liverpool fans, then, were delighted with their man and took to Twitter to sing his praises following the game.

What a performance from Firmino today. Liverpool fans are rightly lauding him after the game and the whole of world football seems to be taking notice, too.
Firmino has so often lurked in the shadows. However, he’s emerging now as the key player in Liverpool’s brilliant attacking play.
He’s living proof that the modern-day centre-forward is not all about just scoring goals. Movement, a footballing brain, and involving teammates are just as important.
Roberto Firmino does those things better than most at Liverpool and will rightfully walk away from this season with a Premier League winners medal.
