Liverpool loanee Rhian Brewster continues to impress for Swansea, with many of their fans hailing the Anfield academy graduate’s latest display.
The 20-year-old is one of the most highly rated players who have come through the Reds academy in recent years and, prior to the football shutdown, had netted four goals in 11 Championship games for the Swans.
Brewster has hit the ground running following the resumption of English football, netting twice in a 3-0 hammering of Middlesbrough and, against Millwall, fired a superb free kick past Bartosz Bialkowski.
Though it was given as an own goal for the Lions keeper, there was no doubting the quality of the effort, which pulled Swansea level on 66 minutes after Mason Bennett had given Millwall the lead in the first half.
The 1-1 draw kept Swansea within reach of the playoffs, just four points separating them from the top six with six games to go.
Admittedly, Brewster had been relatively quiet up until that moment of magic, though he worked hard to keep the Millwall back line busy, and could have netted earlier on in the game, shortly after his side went behind.
Nonetheless, his efforts over the course of the calendar year for Swansea since joining in January continue to impress the Jack Army, and plenty praised him on social media during and after the game.
Below is some of the reaction:
