Leeds ran out 3-1 winners against Spurs yesterday as they produced another fine performance in what has been a memorable Premier League return.

Goals from Stuart Dallas, Patrick Bamford, and Rodrigo were enough to see off Spurs, who continue to struggle to find any sort of consistency under Ryan Mason’s leadership.

For Leeds, it was business as usual. A high intensity performance with moments of quality which saw them overpower one of the so-called big six in England.

One of the standout performers for Leeds all season and somewhat an unsung hero, has been Luke Ayling. The former Yeovil defender has enjoyed a great rise to prominence and he sums up this Leeds side in a nutshell.

Ayling took to Instagram yesterday to celebrate the win and in typical fashion, he was singled out for praise from some of his teammates, including club captain, Liam Cooper.

Dallas has emerged as a superstar for this team, while Raphinha’s performances have been nothing short of sensational. The duo, though, were humble as usual and they were among the players to leave a message for Ayling on his post.
