A number of Liverpool fans have been singing Andrew Robertson’s praises on social media following his performance for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds last night.
The 26-year-old made his 13th Premier League start of the season as Liverpool welcomed Tottenham to Anfield in a top-of-the-table clash.
The hosts took the lead in the 26th minute through Mohamed Salah, whose first-time strike took a deflection off Toby Alderweireld and looped into the top corner of the Spurs goal.

However, Spurs were level seven minutes later against the run of play, as a counter-attack saw Giovani Lo Celso release Son Heung-min, who duly slotted past Alisson Becker.
The visitors were much improved after the break but Liverpool held on before striking in the 90th minute, Robertson’s cross headed home by Roberto Firmino.
As well as providing the assist for the winner, the Scotland international was defensively sound, a constant threat down the left, and never stopped running.
