Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been praised by France manager Didier Deschamps for his impact on the pitch and in the dressing room.
The Spurs enforcer is currently on international duty, coming off the bench against Kazakhstan to help Les Bleus see out a 2-0 victory.
Sissoko was an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw against Ukraine in France’s first international of the month, and will be hoping for more game time against Bosnia & Herzegovina on Wednesday.

Despite not getting much game time in France’s first two games, Deschamps nonetheless singled the Tottenham man out for praise after he replaced Tanguy Ndombele against Kazakhstan.
“He gives, he gives, he is greatly appreciated by his teammates and feared by his opponents,” Deschamps is quoted by Sport Witness as saying after the match.
Sissoko has largely been used as a squad rotation player at Tottenham this season, with 38 appearances under his belt, but just 14 Premier League starts and five Europa League starts.
TBR View:
Sissoko did well to turn his Spurs career round a couple of years ago and remains a valued member of Jose Mourinho’s squad.
Likewise, Deschamps is fond of the 31-year-old, who missed out on France’s 2018 World Cup squad and will hope to make the cut for the upcoming Euros.
