‘Remember the name’ – Forest fans react to Gil Dias’ display in Bournemouth win

Nottingham Forest have made some shrewd signings this summer and on in particular that has caught the eye is that of Portuguese winger Gil Dias, who has penned terms on a loan deal at the City Ground from Monaco.

The Reds’ loan star was in fine form on Saturday afternoon as he helped his new team-mates to a 2-0 win over Premier League outfit Bournemouth as Forest rounded off their pre-season campaign in some style.

The man who was on loan at Fiorentina in Serie A last season curled in a stunning second goal against the Cherries to leave those of a Forest persuasion purring in delight at his eye-catching display.

Dias, 21, looks capable of tearing the Championship apart if his close season form is anything to go by and his arrival looks like a real masterstroke from boss Aitor Karanka ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

The Tricky Trees will be trying to compete in the higher echelons of the division next season and it looks as though Dias will be an extremely big player for the club over the next nine months.
