‘Devastatingly good’, ‘MOTM’: Some Leicester fans in awe of £20m man’s ‘elite’ display v Fulham
A number of Leicester City fans have taken to Twitter to praise James Maddison’s display in last night’s Premier League victory.
The Foxes ran out 2-0 winners at Fulham to strengthen their position in the top four, and Maddison played a key role in both goals.
The 24-year-old delivered a pinpoint in-swinging cross for Kelechi Iheanacho to head home in the 17th minute.

Maddison then teed up James Justin to double the Foxes lead not long before the break.
The £20million man pretty much ran the show for Leicester, covering every blade of grass and being involved in most of the attacking opportunities.
Needless to say, Foxes fans on social media were quick to hail one of their star men’s efforts on the night:
Lots of people pointing out that we lose when Ndidi is injured. The truth is we still win as long as Maddison is on form! He’s been devastatingly good so far today! #LCFC #FULLEI

Four goals and four assists for Maddison in his seven games in 2021. Outstanding form.
And a world away from last season. Didn’t get a single goal or assist after New Year’s Day last term. #LCFC
