Ousmane Dembele has reportedly rejected a move to Liverpool despite the Reds tabling a loan-to-buy offer with the Frenchman keen on remaining at Barcelona. But a new report suggests he is open to joining another club.
Sky Italy transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his official website that Liverpool tabled a loan-to-buy offer for 23-year-old World Cup winner Dembele – only for Dembele to respond by stating he wants to stay at Barca.
Dembele has struggled at Barca since his £97million move (Sky Sports), managing just 74 outings in three seasons. It has made him somewhat flexible at Barca this summer – especially with the Spanish side looking for funds.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Juventus have opened talks with Barcelona over a move for Dembele and it appears the player is open to joining the Italian champions – despite rejecting a move to Liverpool.

TBR’s view – Dembele decision a blow, who else can Reds sign?
Jadon Sancho and Kai Havertz are in the right mould, but they are deemed far too expensive given both could cost the best part of a nine-figure sum. So, who should Liverpool target, given Dembele has rejected a move?
The best option could be Marcus Thuram who has returned to Bundesliga action in fine form for Gladbach. Express.de say Liverpool are interested. At £44million, he is a cheaper alternative.
