‘Deserves much more’: Liverpool fans question why Nat Phillips isn’t playing CB while Henderson is

Liverpool fans were left unimpressed again today as they lost 3-1 to Leicester City in the Premier League to end their hopes of retaining the title.

While it is still mathmetically possible, consecutive defeats to teams around them mean the Reds now face a momentous task in trying to stay even in the race for the trophy.

Today was a tough day at the office once again. However, there were signs from Liverpool that they were coming back before the second half capitulation completely cost them the game again.

One of the big talking points after the game – again – was the decision to keep playing Jordan Henderson at centre-back. The England man did a good job again, but it’s so clear the Reds miss him in midfield.

And it was a point a lot of Liverpool fans wanted to discuss on Twitter after the game. So, while there was praise for the job Henderson is doing, some Reds supporters simply want their skipper back in the middle of the park.
