‘Deserves better than this’: Celtic fans react to Kristoffer Ajer’s performance against Rangers

Celtic narrowly slipped to defeat this afternoon as Rangers saw them off thanks to a deflected Joe Aribo header in the second half.

The Bhoys huffed and puffed with ten men after Nir Bitton saw red for pulling down Alfredo Morelos but couldn’t force an equaliser despite their best efforts at Ibrox.

Neil Lennon will have been proud of the effort and endeavour shown from his team, though, and although the title looks lost now there were a few positives on display today.

One such plus was was the performance of giant defender, Kristoffer Ajer, who was solid throughout but could do little to prevent the loss.

But some Celtic fans were quick to praise Ajer on Twitter despite the loss, with supporters keen to point out how well he’d played despite falling to defeat to their bitter rivals.
